Storm Drain Marking

Salmonids in the Classroom

Storm Drain Marking

A conservation and education project developed by Fisheries and Oceans Canada. Yellow fish are painted or applied (decal) by residents and youth to bring awareness about our local streams. Brochures are then handed outdoor-to-door in the community to explain the program. Stream to Sea lends out storm drain marking kits to classrooms, communities, and for community members
